When our compassion gets lost- Reconnecting Through NVC Practice & Support (EN/FR, online)

An online NVC practice session to support the advanced training in Kigali, November 2026.

Can you imagine to live in Africa? Especially in the Great Lakes Region (Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo) with so many violent atrocities and wars? Imagine you get to know Nonviolent Communication (NVC) basics there, and you are longing to learn more to apply and integrate it in your daily life and work, and in your activities for social change. And then the opportunities to get more training, mentorship and the learning path towards NVC trainer certification are not available to you, because international trainings are simply to expensive, and the certified trainers with whom you could continue your learning journey live in Europe, the United States, Canada or Australia…? On top, you
have very slim chances to get a visa for one of these countries where advanced trainings are organised?

In view of this context and the immense frustration it brings, a small team of Belgian and local CNVC certified trainers has decided to offer an Advanced Training for NVC of 7 days in the Rwandan capital Kigali, November 16-20, 2026. We are cordially inviting you to make your contributions to our efforts – these can be moral support, financial contributions, contacts or materials.

To create a space for participants and interested people to support this project and to get to know the team, to ask questions about the structure of the training, and to establish new links between NVC practitioners in Africa and elsewhere, we would love if you join us for an online NVC practice and Question-and-Answer Session

Logistics

• Language: This evening will be held in both English and French, with translation provided throughout.

• Access: Once you sign up, you’ll receive the Zoom login details via email.
• Cost: This session is free of charge. As our humble contribution to the cause, we welcome voluntary donations to support NVC work in Africa. Bank details will be shared after registration.
